This page explains what data we collect through this website, why we collect it and what rights you have. It is written in plain language: if anything is unclear, write to us.
Who processes your data
The data controller is BETA S.R.L. (P. IVA IT04656010230), with registered office at Via Mantovana 12, 37014 Castelnuovo del Garda (VR), Italy, operating the SEI Garda Apartments property at Via Monte Baldo 17B, 37019 Peschiera del Garda (VR). For any request you can write to sei@roomsgarda.com, call +39 328 8884704 or use the certified email address pec@pec.roomsgarda.com.
What we collect as you browse
As with any website, the server records technical connection data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) in log files, kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. We also use Google Tag Manager, a tool that can activate traffic measurement services: which services are active, and which cookies they involve, is shown in the consent panel linked at the bottom of this page.
Cookies
The site uses one of its own technical cookies, called sg_lang: it remembers the language you selected, lasts one year, is created only if you switch language and holds no personal data. Technical cookies require no consent. The measurement tools activated through Google Tag Manager may instead install cookies that do require your consent: you can grant or refuse it, and change your mind at any time, from the preferences panel. All cookies can in any case be deleted from your browser settings.
The booking form
The availability box is provided by Ciao Booking: to work, your browser downloads a file from their server (cdn.ciaobooking.com), which at that moment receives your IP address. If you continue with a booking you are taken to seirooms.bookpage.io, where the data you enter is handled under that service's own privacy notice.
The map
The Google map is not loaded automatically: in its place you find a panel with the address. Only if you choose to press "Show the map" is Google's content loaded and does Google receive your IP address. Until you press it, no data reaches Google.
If you write to us
There are no contact forms on this site: the details open your own mail client or phone. When you write to us, we process the data in your message to reply and, if you book, to manage your stay and meet legal obligations, including reporting guest details to the public security authorities as required by Italian law.
Reviews
The reviews shown on this site are already public on the platforms where they were written (Google, Booking.com) and are reproduced with the name given by their author, without changes to the content. If you wrote one and would rather not appear here, write to us and we will remove it.
Your rights
At any time you may ask us to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format or object to the processing. Just write to sei@roomsgarda.com. If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you may contact the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Managing your preferences
You can review at any time which cookies to accept, and withdraw consent you have already given.
